This time, we would like to share with you a route from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line to Kaminarimon, which is easy to walk even with children or pushing a stroller.
Why don’t you go to Kaminarimon, one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Japan, located in Asakusa, Tokyo, with its gorgeous decorations and large lanterns?
The route will avoid crowds, be sheltered from the sun by roofs, pass through many places to rest, and have no steep grades.

After getting off the train, take the elevator to the ground level.
After getting off the train, go to the “main ticket gate”.
After exiting the ticket gate, follow the wall on the left and you will see an elevator, so take it to the main entrance on the first floor.
There is a seat for changing diapers in the restroom in front of the elevator.
There is a baby lounge on the 5th floor of EKIMISE, which is attached to the station.
Asakusa Station ~ Kentucky
After exiting the station, go straight ahead and cross the pedestrian crossing on the right side of the “Welcome to Taito City sign”.
There is a “7-Eleven” on the right across the pedestrian crossing, so you can buy what you need here.
Kentucky ~ Kamiya Bar
After crossing the crosswalk, turn left and go straight, keeping “Kamiya Bar” on your right.
Kamiya Bar ~ Baskin-Robbins
After crossing the pedestrian crossing in front of you, turn right at “Baskin-Robbins”.
Baskin-Robbins ~ Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center
Go straight ahead, keeping “Kameju” and “Nishimura” on your left, and you will see Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center.
Diaper changing sheets are located on the 2nd floor of Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center.
There are few elevators, so if you use one, make sure you have plenty of room.
Turn left at the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center, and you will find a “7-Eleven” with an eat-in space where you can take a break.
Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center ~ Kaminarimon
Turn right at the “Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center” and cross the scramble crossing.
Since it gets very crowded in front of “Kaminarimon”, it is a good idea to take a commemorative photo at the place before crossing the intersection, being careful of cars!
