This time, we would like to share with you a route from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Sensoji Temple, which is easy to walk even with children or pushing a stroller

Route1 from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Sensoji Temple

When you get off at the station, go to the Kaminarimon direction ticket gate
After getting off the train, go to the [Kaminarimon-direction ticket gate of Line 2].
When boarding a train, you can check the destination indicator on the side of the train to see whether the train will arrive at Asakusa Line 1 or Asakusa Line 2.
Trains come alternately, so it is easier to get around if you take the train that arrives at Asakusa Line No. 1.
After exiting the ticket gate, take the elevator to the ground level
After exiting the ticket gate, proceed toward Exit 1 (Kaminarimon/Sensoji side).
At the end of the building, turn right and take the elevator to the above-ground entrance on the first floor.
There are coin lockers in the corridor leading to the elevators.
Asakusa Station – Kannon-Dori Street
When you exit Asakusa Station, turn right and go straight down Kannon-Dori Street.
There is a Family Mart(convenience store) across the street from the station, so you can buy your groceries.

Kannon-Dori Street – Restaurant Omiya
Continue straight ahead with “Towada” and “New Asakusa” on your right, and continue until you reach “Restaurant Omiya” marked by a red sign.
Restaurant Omiya – Sensoji Temple
Go straight down the narrow alley next to “Restaurant Omiya” and pass “Bentenyama Children’s Park” on your right, and you will arrive at “Sensoji Temple”.

Bonus
A multipurpose restroom with a diaper-changing seat is located just inside “Sensoji Temple”.
