We will provide a route from Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line to Sensoji Temple that is easy to walk with children and a stroller.
We will show you a route that avoids crowds, has a roof, and passes through many places where you can rest.
Why don’t you go to “Sensoji Temple”with your family, which has a “large main hall”, a “five-story pagoda”, the “Hozomon Gate”, and many other impressive spots?

After getting off the train, go to the ticket gate
After getting off the train, take the elevator to the Komagatabashi direction ticket gate on the ticket gate floor.
Note that there is no elevator at the Kaminarimon direction ticket gate near the destination.
Elevator to ground level
When you exit the ticket gate, go diagonally forward to the left and take the “Exit A2b elevator” to the “1F exit floor”.
Multi-purpose restroom
Asakusa Station Exit ~ Komagatodo
After exiting the elevator, turn right and go straight and cross the pedestrian crossing toward “Komagatado”.
Cross the pedestrian crossing and turn right, and you will find a restroom with a diaper-changing seat at the foot of the Komagata Bridge.
Komagatodo ~ In the middle of the crossing
cross the crosswalk on the left and turn right at the halfway point to cross the crosswalk.
In the middle of the crossing ~ Namiki-Dori Street
After crossing the crosswalk, turn left to “the stone lantern at the Namiki-dori Street entrance”.
Namiki-Dori Street ~ 7-Eleven
Go straight on the left side of “stone lanterns on Namiki-Dori Street”, and you will find “7-Eleven with seating space”.
Next to it is the Asakusa Tourist Center.
There are few elevators, so if you use one, make sure you have plenty of room.
Seven-Eleven
7-Eleven ~ Sansada
After passing “7-Eleven”, you will come to a scramble intersection, so turn right at “Sansada” across the street.
Sansada ~ Family Mart (Convenience store)
Go straight and you will see “Family Mart”, turn left.
Family Mart ~ Kannon-Dori Street
Go straight through the arcade on Kannon-Dori Street.
Joints are filled in so strollers are easy to push
Kannon Dori Street ~ Restaurant Omiya
Keep “Towada” and “New Asakusa” on your right, and you will see “Restaurant Omiya” marked by a red sign.
Restaurant Omiya ~ Sensoji Temple
Go straight down the narrow alley next to “Restaurant Omiya” and pass by “Bentenyama Children’s Park” on your right…
Arrival at Sensoji Temple

Bonus
A multipurpose restroom with a diaper-changing seat is located just inside “Sensoji Temple”.
It is in a place where many people use it outside and it is a little dirty, so you might want to wipe it down with a sanitizing sheet before use if you have one.
